Digital Communications Manager

Full-time Dallas office · 3–4 days/week Relocation assistance available $65,000–$75,000

The church is in the midst of a vital conversation about same-sex relationships, and The Reformation Project has been helping to lead it for more than a decade. The conversation is reaching more people than ever, and we’re looking for a Digital Communications Manager to build on that momentum and own the day-to-day storytelling of this movement.

This is a tactical and strategic role that works closely with the Executive Director to produce compelling digital communications that grow the organization’s reach. You’ll steer The Reformation Project’s message across our channels — and your work will reach people at some of the most important crossroads of their lives: parents whose child just came out; pastors rethinking what they were taught; gay, bisexual, and transgender Christians wondering whether there’s a place for them in the church.

How you know this is the right job for you

  • You’re a committed Christian who loves God, the Bible, and the church
  • You support the full inclusion of gay, bisexual, and transgender Christians in the church
  • You’re a strong content creator with a creative flair, especially in short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and educational carousels
  • You have a high facility for using social media channels to disseminate messages and grow followings, with relevant experience on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
  • You can understand complex theological and cultural conversations and articulate them in clear, shareable ways
  • You have a documented history of driving projects to completion
  • You bring fresh ideas, and you’re open to feedback on them

Valuable, but not required

  • Graphic design skills
  • Email marketing experience (we use Campaign Monitor)
  • Photography or longer-form video production

What you’ll do

  • Develop a social media plan and editorial calendar with the Executive Director, with the goal of growing The Reformation Project’s reach, following, and email list
  • Produce and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads — with short-form video and carousels at the center
  • Inhabit The Reformation Project’s voice to draft mission-aligned messaging, and work with our staff to gather the stories behind the work
  • Engage with our community by responding to inquiries on our channels
  • Design and track engagement metrics, and adjust strategy based on what the numbers say
  • Support email campaigns that reach thousands of subscribers
  • Ensure our brand standards are followed across everything we publish

Where you’ll work

This role is based in our Dallas office, typically three to four days per week, with flexible scheduling beyond that. We believe this work is collaborative and finely nuanced—and we build it together, in person. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $65,000–$75,000, depending on experience
  • Health and dental benefits
  • 20 days paid time off, plus 11 national holidays observed
  • Retirement benefits
  • Relocation assistance
